A Simple Thing Called Love

if she knows me well enough,
she'll know why im staying away from her.
everything has changed.
my heart no longer beats faster when i see her,
it beats slower and slower.
my cheeks no longer blush when i see her,
instead the colour drains out of my face.
i used to be speechless each time i see her coz of her beauty,
but now im speechless coz i fear being hurt.
i used to feel overjoyed when i see her arnd,
but now i feel the joy disappear if she's arnd.
im always staring at her if she's arnd,
but now i look away even when i see her coincidentally.
and all these isn't because i no longer love her.
its because i love her too much.
to the extent that it hurts me.
